本日（2025/11/11）、株式会社ヒロファーマコンサルティングは、昨年2024年12月6日に特許出願中の「AI機能を搭載したPVシステムのGxP対応バリデーション手法（特願2024-213393）」について、特許庁より正式に「特許査定書」を受けとることが出来ました。
本特許は、日本において初めてAI機能を有するファーマコヴィジランス（PV）システムの信頼性保証を対象とした特許であり、「新規性・進歩性」を有する点が特許審査において認められた点で画期的なものです。
AI搭載PVシステムは、自動学習や性能向上を継続的に伴うため、従来のCSV手法のみでは十分にその信頼性を担保することが困難でした。本特許手法は、これらAI特有の特性に対し、合理的かつ継続的に検証・文書化を行うことで、GVP省令を含む規制要件を満たしつつ、製薬企業や委託先において患者安全性を確保できる新たな枠組みを提供するものです。
すでに「特許料納付」まで済ませましたので、このあと二週間程度で「特許登録（特許番号付与）、「特許公報発行（J‑PlatPatで検索可能）」になれば、プレスリリース、SNS等で正式にご報告をさせて頂きます。

Today, on November 11, 2025, HiroPharmaConsulting Co., Ltd. received an official Notice of Allowance from the Japan Patent Office for our patent application filed on December 6, 2024:
“GxP-Compliant Validation Method for AI-Enabled Pharmacovigilance (PV) Systems” (Japanese Patent Application No. 2024-213393).
This patent represents Japan’s first intellectual property specifically covering the reliability assurance of pharmacovigilance systems equipped with artificial intelligence functions.
It has been recognized by the Japan Patent Office as possessing novelty and inventive step, making it a groundbreaking achievement.
Because AI-enabled PV systems continuously learn and improve their performance, conventional CSV (Computerized System Validation) methods alone are insufficient to ensure their reliability. Our patented validation method provides a rational and sustainable framework for verification and documentation that accommodates the unique characteristics of AI systems—while fulfilling regulatory requirements, including those under GVP Ministerial Ordinances, and safeguarding patient safety across pharmaceutical companies and their service providers.
As the patent fee payment has already been completed, the patent will be formally registered (patent number assigned) and published in the Patent Gazette (searchable via J-PlatPat) within approximately two weeks.
